Who Created Rubelis Beyond?

Taylan Kırali

Dive Instructor and Rubelis Founder

Rubelis Beyond grew out of observations gathered over years of real dives, real teaching, and one-to-one work with divers.

Taylan Kırali, the programme's founder, believes that in dive education what matters is not only technical skill, but also what the diver notices underwater, how they interpret their experience, and what kind of relationship they build with the sea.

This belief is the foundation of Rubelis Beyond.

What remains after a dive?

Dive training typically teaches safe diving procedures, equipment use, problem-solving skills, and technical underwater applications. All of these are indispensable for becoming a safe and aware diver.

But when a dive is over, what remains is not only depth, duration, or the amount of air consumed.

What the diver saw, what they missed, how they related to their surroundings, how they evaluated their own behaviour, and what they learned from the experience — these too are part of that dive.

Rubelis Beyond was created precisely to make this dimension visible.

Why did Rubelis Beyond come about?

Working with divers at different experience levels, Taylan Kırali observed the same gap again and again.

Divers were developing technically, completing new training, and logging more dives. Yet there was rarely a structured space where they could evaluate their underwater experiences, question their own habits, and engage more consciously with the relationship they had built with the sea.

Rubelis Beyond was developed to address exactly that need.

Rather than telling the diver what to think, the programme uses the right questions to help them look at their own experience afresh. Instead of providing ready-made answers, it supports the skills of observation, interpretation, and personal evaluation.

Perspective, not authority

Rubelis Beyond does not aim to confer a new diving level, technical authority, or professional qualification.

The programme's focus is on the diver looking more carefully at the knowledge and experience they already have.

The aim is not to go deeper, but to notice more in the place where you already are.

Personal evaluation, not memorisation

Every diver's background, experience, and underwater behaviour is different.

For this reason, rather than imposing a single correct answer, Rubelis Beyond creates space for the participant to evaluate their own experience. Through reading content, reflection questions, and personal exercises, the diver begins to see their own habits and approach more clearly.

The programme is not simply a course that transfers information — it is a quiet mirror held up to the relationship the diver has with themselves and with the sea.

Lasting development, not quick consumption

Rubelis Beyond was not designed to be completed quickly and forgotten.

The chapters were designed so that participants can progress at their own pace, return to earlier content when needed, and revisit what they have learned over time.

Because some ideas make sense on first reading, while others only find their true meaning after the next dive.

Teaching background

Taylan Kırali's qualifications in dive instruction and environmental awareness:

PADI IDC Staff Instructor

PADI EFR Instructor

Green Fins Guide Instructor

TSSF CMAS 1★ Dive Instructor

PADI 2025 Elite Instructor

The trust behind Rubelis Beyond does not rest on these qualifications alone. The programme's true source is the real dives, real teaching, work with students, and years of field observations that have accumulated over time.

The founder's approach

"Progress in diving is not only about going deeper, using better equipment, or earning a new card. Sometimes real development begins with learning to look at the same water more carefully."

Rubelis Beyond was not created to give divers a new label — it was created to help them make their existing experience more meaningful.

An independent work

Rubelis Beyond was created independently by Taylan Kırali.

The programme is not an official dive training course published, approved, or endorsed by PADI, SSI, or CMAS. It does not replace certified theoretical or practical dive training and does not confer any diving authority. Rubelis Beyond is an intellectual and personal development experience that complements existing dive education.

Look at your relationship with the sea anew

Diving more does not always mean noticing more.

Sometimes progress begins not with going somewhere new, but with being able to look at something you have already seen with different eyes.

Rubelis Beyond was created to develop exactly that kind of seeing.
